Caravan Exhibition 2016

2016 CARAVAN Exhibition of Art is a peacebuilding Contemporary Art initiative. The exhibition will tour London and New York after Cairo. In the past, the initiative featured plexiglass painted donkeys (2014) - symbols of tolerance and endurance – and statues in various prayer poses (2015) – prayer is a common link between all major world religions. This year, the installations will use the ancient symbol the Key of Life, or Egyptian Ankh, as an Icon of Hope for a Harmonious, Peaceful and Tolerant world.

With 40 participating Egyptian, Middle Eastern and Western artists, it promises to be an exciting event! See you Tuesday on Montaza Street in Zamalek.
